Our Program encourages the production of quality research and technological innovation. We work to ensure that our graduate students can contribute significantly to the advancement of knowledge, always with ethics, commitment and respect for the scientific community.

Quality Research and International Visibility
We make sure that the research produced in our program is widely recognized. To this end, all publications are in English, in indexed journals, and submitted to peer review.

Innovation and Technical Contributions
Our program is concerned not only with theory, but also with the practical application of knowledge. We have an important technical and technological production for the area of ​​Veterinary Medicine, with several products listed in the CAPES sucupira platform. In addition, we encourage the creation of patents, as we believe that innovation needs to be promoted and valued, not only on paper, but also with concrete results.

Fostering Entrepreneurship and Innovation
To enable our students to transform their ideas into real solutions, we offer courses and workshops focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. We believe that these skills are essential for those who want to take their research to the world and create a positive impact, whether in small companies or new startups.

Connection with the Production Sector and Support for Entrepreneurship
In addition, the administrative facilities have the Technological Innovation Center (NIT) that plays an important role in connecting postgraduate studies to the productive sectors of society. In partnership with SEBRAE, NIT seeks to facilitate the technology transfer process, offering support and guidance to students who want to undertake. SEBRAE also has a post within the University, ready to support those who want to transform research into a successful business.

Data Management and Transparency
We understand that, for science to be truly useful, it needs to be open and accessible. Therefore, we have a data management plan that ensures the organization and secure sharing of the information generated in our research, allowing it to be validated and used by other researchers. All copyrights are respected and, whenever possible, released under the Creative Commons license set (CC-BY). The research follows the standards of the FAPESP Code of Good Scientific Practices and those contained in the Regulations of the Research Integrity Committee of the University of Franca. Graduate students at the University of Franca receive guidance on scientific behavior and conduct in several fields, including plagiarism, which is checked in the project by two anti-plagiarism tools: Safe Assign (UNIFRAN) or Turnitin, Urkundi (Spanish Universities).
